My Story

Hi I’m Kat, a mother to a 3 year old daughter, dog owner, dungaree wearer, beach walker and Indian curry lover.


I’m a Senior Yoga Teacher, Antenatal Educator and trained Doula, and i've been teaching for over 8 years. I specialise in teaching women throughout their pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.


I love helping my students connect with their changing bodies, feel safe and nurtured and help them to feel empowered about their pregnancy and birth. I set up Motherhooding Yoga so that I could reach out to more women on their journey and offer them support, strength and guidance through movement, knowledge and to grown a community of supportive mothers.

Health conditions


Pelvic Girdle Pain

If you suffer from PGP, yoga is a great way of being able to strengthen and create stability within the pelvis. Most poses can be adapted for you, In any instance during the class where the legs become wider than the hips, please modify by closing them so that the legs never go wider than the hips.  

Carpel Tunnel

If you have carpel tunnel or any pain or swelling in the wrists yoga is again a great way of being able to relieve this. Most yoga poses can be modified by taking the weight off the wrists, coming onto forearms or place a cushion or blocks under the forearms.
